My name is Mairin LaGrave, and I’m a Lubbock area native! I attended Texas Tech University for my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s in Counseling at West Texas A&M. During this time, I have also become a Certified Early Intervention Specialist. This has helped me to become knowledgeable about child development, especially social-emotional and cognitive development areas.

I will be serving child clients at the Playroom Lubbock guided by the supervision of Kelly Martin MEd, LPC-S, RPT-S.

In December of 2024 I will be graduating and will pursue the credentialing process to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. I’m passionate about giving back to the community that I was raised in. I look forward to helping children here in West Texas!

My unique blend of experience and education will hopefully allow me to make a meaningful impact in the field of counseling.
